DIRECTIONS: Shot List

Below are my shot lists for my three different locations. These are the shots which I want in my film but they may change, e.g. if it rains or is too sunny and I have to change the set up of the camera. 

House scene

3	We see Bella go towards the window and look out from behind	Medium shot
4	Cut to being in front of her and looking at her sad expression	Close up
5	Bella’s POV looking outside at the wind blowing through the trees	Wide shot
6	Looking at the rain hitting the top of a conservatory	Medium shot	On this shot the word OCTOBER comes up in the bottom right hand side of the screen
7	We then see the same thing but Bella is deciding between jumpers and winter clothes instead of cami tops	Wide shot
8	Cut to Bella putting a coat on	Medium shot
9	Cut to Bella putting a hat on	Medium shot
10	Cut to it snowing outside	Wide shot	On this shot DECEMBER appears in the bottom corner
11	We see Bella typing an email to Alice	Close up	The camera is on the computer screen at this point
12	Looking at photo of Bella and Edward on the cupboard, the photo then disappears/fades	Medium shot
13	Looking at photo on bed side table, photo then disappears/fades	Medium shot
14	Photo laying on scrapbook on the bed, photo then disappears/fades	Medium shot
15	Bella is typing an email to her mum	Close up	Camera is back looking at the computer screen
16	We’re looking down on Bella curled up on the floor	Medium/wide shot, tilted downwards
17	Continuing email to her mum	Close up	Camera is on computer screen
18	Cut to look at Bella’s face and see the sadness	Medium/close up
19	Bella finishes the email and gets up and goes to the window	Medium shot	We follow behind her as she moves to get up

The car scene

1	Bella leaving the house and walking down the drive towards the car	Wide shot	The shot will wide enough to get the house and car in. Make sure other cars aren’t on the drive or not in shot
2	Car in center of camera, Bella putting bits in the car. Charlie comes into the shot and shuts the car door	Medium shot	Getting the length of the car in
3	Bella	Close up	To see her reaction to Charlie telling her she’s moving to Forks.
4	Charlie	Over the shoulder shot
5	Bella is in shot again, nods, while Charlie is talking	Close up of Bella
6	Charlie is still speaking	Over the shoulder shot to Charlie
7	Bella while Charlie is speaking	Close up of Bella
8	Charlie	Over the shoulder

10	Charlie’s reaction to Bella saying she’s going shopping	Over the shoulder

14	Bella opens the car door again, but we’re still looking at Charlie, once Bella is in we are still on him while he shuts the car door	Over the shoulder, medium shot	Enough to see her open the door but still be on him
15	We’re looking at Bella through the open car window. She nods, still on her and Charlie walks past the camera	Medium shot
15-16	Zoom in slightly to Bella, she starts the car and drives off out of camera	Close up

Cinema scene

1	Looking at the sign above the cinema, below is Bella and Jessica walking out after the film. We stay on them as they walk towards the camera. Camera is stationary until they create a medium shot, then the camera tracks backwards	Handheld, tilt downwards into a wide shot of the girls. Continuous shot of the girls with the camera tracking backwards
2	We’re looking at Jessica while she is talking	Close up
3	Go back to looking at both of the girls	Medium shot
4	We hear the man’s voice and watch Bella turn	Close up	As she turns the shot goes into slow-mo as the time slows down
