Final studio script:
Changes include:
- We initially had reaction shots and comments from the presenter on the sofa while the other was up at the catwalk - we decided these would be cut as the segment is all about the fashion and the model and it keeps it simple for the directors to not have to set up a camera for the reaction shots.
- The good thing about ad-libbing is that it could be shorter to what is written on a script. I have told Adeline and Alfie to ad-lib as much as they like to make the dialogue seem less scripted, this should also give us an extra few seconds to play with.
- I shortened the questions for the models, e.g. took out the dialogue which explains that Sofia works for French Connection so she could say it herself. Kevin also had three questions aimed at him so I took one away.
- Katie reminded me that we might need in and out words for the VT's. Although we didn't think this was essential, we did it anyway. We added them in a smaller font and in italics so they were separated to the dialogue in the script.
Cue cards
We thought cue cards would be the best idea for the presenters as there's a lot of fashion information which would be difficult to remember. Also as we didn't have an autocue, cue cards were the best option. We agreed that they'd learn the introduction and the ending and then lines in the middle segments they could have on cue cards if they needed.
We had rough cue cards for the rehearsal where Adeline and Alfie could make notes for me to change on the script, these were mainly in and out words so they knew when to say the next line and a few lines extra lines they couldn't remember. I amended the cue cards and sent them back over to both Adeline and Alfie, they both replied and said they were perfect.

Once we had the go ahead from the presenters, we had the cue cards professionally printed and Katie and I stuck the information on the other side. We sent off our orange logo with a beige / off white background, relating to our colour scheme. We left the back of the cards like this - simple and professional. Keeping them simple would also prevent any distraction from the presenters by the audience.
